Edwardian Oak Bookcase

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: witchantiques.com

A large and fine bookcase from the Edwardian period. Solid oak throughout and with superb leaded glass doors. The base has four bevel edged drawers that still retain their original oxydised copper handles above four well carved panel doors, all with working locks and keys. The glazed superstructure has three doors, all with intricate leaded windows and only one small minor crack to one of the smaller panes that you would need to point out to notice (with it being the original bubbled glass we won''t replace this). Generally the bookcase is in excellent condition with only a narrow shrinkage crack to the left hand side of the base, aside from that this bookcase is difficult to fault. The bookcase breaks into two main pieces and has free mainland UK delivery with two men delivering.
