An unusual Chinoiserie breakfront bookcase or shop cabinet. The black ground lacquer with raised painted and gilded Chinese decoration with applied patrae. The top section having 4 bevel edged glazed doors with smaller star etched glass panels to the top. The lower section having 4 panelled doors with typical Chinese decoration including Pagodas, birds, trees and Chinese characters. Dimensions:- Height…Maximum Height…86’’/ 218.5cm.
