A lovely ornate solid silver Sifter Spoon. Beautifully designed with a lovely shaped and embossed handle and a very nicely shaped bowl that is fluted and very charmingly pierced. Clear hallmarks are visible on the back of the spoon handle for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1911 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. There are maker''s marks, however, these are slightly rubbed.
A most attractive Sifter Spoon, lovely to hold in the hand and a good weight.
