Victorian Silver & Glass Scent Bottle Birmingham 1893

A charming Victorian scent bottle, with a neat heavy glass base and a pretty silver hinged top and collar. The top opens nicely to reveal the original glass stopper that fits neatly and snugly within the neck of the bottle, and closes nicely with a very firm click. The silver collar is fully hallmarked for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1893 and maker's marks for Hilliard & Thomason, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver.

 

Great for a collector of antique scent bottles and a perfect size for travelling!
