Edwardian Silver Photo Frame by Walker & Hall Sheffield 1905

A most attractive solid silver Photo Frame. The frame is embossed with a wonderful classical Edwardian decoration. The back-stand is a deep navy blue velvet. Clear hallmarks are visible on the lower part of the frame for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1905 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The maker's mark is also clear for the renowned silversmiths: Walker & Hall.

 

Condition: This frame is in great antique condition. There is a tiny pin hole at the centre top of the frame (see image 7) which does not detract from the appearance of the frame and is mentioned for accuracy.
