Description

Early 19th Century satinwood bookcase, having a nice elegant cornice decorated with ebony inlay above two glazed doors with Gothic glazing bars, opening to reveal three shelves inside, the bottom section having two oval panelled doors opening to reveal three pull out sliding trays, the bookcase is decorated all over with ebony inlay and around the top and bottom doors there is ebony and tulipwood inlay, standing on splay feet. Circa 1800.

All of Martlesham Antiques furniture is hand polished by their own French polishers and restorers to a very high standard. We are also a member of LAPADA, the association of art and antiques.
