18th Century Mahogany Secretair Bookcase

Description

A classic example of a bureau bookcase made around 1790 with 13 pane glazing.

The whole bookcase stands on the original splayed feet and the overall condition is excellent having just been checked over by our cabinet maker.

The original locks have the same working key. The front of the secretair fall has an ebony lining as does the cornice of the bookcase.
