Large Quality Victorian Walnut Astragal Glazed Antique Bookcase

Dating from ca. 1900 this Quality Victorian Walnut Astragal Glazed Antique Bookcase is of larger proportions, so ideal for a large book collection. It has a moulded cornice, with dental moulding above two astragal glazed doors with brass key escutcheon, key with working lock. The interior has 4 adjustable shelves and the bookcase stands on four cabriole legs. It has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
