The inside of the egg cup is a beautiful deep golden gilt. The spoon is a lovely simple design and also has a gilded bowl. Hallmarks are visible on both the egg cup and the spoon for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1921 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The silversmith's maker's mark is also visible for A J Bailey

The set comes in the original black leatherette case with blue velvet and cream satin interior.
A lovely set especially for a Christening!
Condition: Both the Egg Cup and Spoon are in great antique condition. The original box is also in great antique condition, lovely and clean on both the outside and inside with only some very slight scuffing around the underneath edges (exceptionally good condition for a case of this age).
