Huge Victorian Mahogany Antique Library Open Bookcase

Full of beautiful country house charm and character and suitable for an extensive book collection, this huge bookcase dates from around 1870. It has a moulded cornice above twelve adjustable shelves and stands on a plain plinth. The mahogany has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
