A superb quality 19th.Century mahogany 4 door breakfront secretaire bookcase. The ogee moulded cornice having an arched and carved pediment with shell carved centre. The 4 glazed doors with thumb mouldings and arched tops and open to 3 adjustable mahogany faced shelves. The lower section having a wonderful carved edged top with canted corners and decorative carved corbels. The 3 drawers all with applied mouldings and solid mahogany carved handles. The large centre drawer opens to an original well fitted maple interior with 6 drawers and 3 pigeonholes.

The 4 conforming lower doors having solid mahogany panels and open to a shelved interior and the whole stands on a plinth base.

In very good original condition with working locks and keys. Dimensions:- Height…97.5’’/ 248cm. Width…68’’/ 173cm. Depth of Base…22’’/ 56cm. Depth of Top…13’’/ 33cm. Plus depth of cornice. Transports in 3 pieces, delivery to most of U.K. mainland £110.
