A truly beautiful, Edwardian Silver Agate Brooch in the most attractive style in the form of a heart shaped design with a charming thistle in the centre. The thistle top is a stunning purple and a faceted design. Around the heart is lovely pale blue agate of varying tones. The back of the brooch has a good fastening pin that works efficiently and well. Clear hallmarks are visible on the back for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1908 and maker''s marks for the renowned silversmiths: Adie & Lovekin.
