Rare Silver Match Box Cover Birmingham 1907

A rare, Edwardian, silver match box cover. The surface is a lovely polished silver and wonderfully embossed with a Dealer''s hand holding playing cards, with enamel on the cards. The cover stands on four neat ball feet and underneath are the very clear hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1907, along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver, and the maker''s mark: James Fenton.
 
 
 
This is a very collectable antique, rare and in great collector''s condition.
