A very fine and handsomely designed, solid silver Magnifying glass. The attractive silver handle has a circle at the end for attachment if required. Hallmarks are visible around the outside edge of the circular lens frame, for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1933, along with the maker''s marks for Deakin & Francis.
The original lens is in good antique condition.
The magnifying glass is tactile and feels nice and robust to hold in the hand but is not too heavy. A very usable antique item!
