Description

An extremely attractive, Victorian, solid silver egg cup, exceptionally beautifully embossed and engraved; the quality of the craftmanship is evident.

The interior of the egg cup is a lovely pale lemony gilt and the base of the item bears the clear hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1876, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver.

A very aesthetically pleasing egg cup!

 

Condition: This item is in great antique condition.

 

Hallmarks: Birmingham 1876
