Of lovely neat smaller proportions, this striking glazed bookcase on cupboard circa, 1890 has a moulded cornice above two glazed doors with the original decorative handle and key with working lock and the interior comprises of three shelves.
Beneath are two beautifully figured doors again with key with working lock and this splendid piece stands on a moulded plinth and splits into two sections for easy removal. The walnut has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
