Spectacular Victorian Mahogany Antique Glazed Bookcase on Cupboard

In the Georgian design and dating from around 1890 in the Victorian era, this spectacular bookcase has a moulded cornice above two astragal glazed cupboard doors with key with working lock and the interior has three adjustable shelves. The lower section has a rectangular moulded top above a cock beaded drawer with quality brass swan neck handles. Beneath are two beautifully figured cupboard doors with moulded edges and key with working lock and the interior has one adjustable shelf. This striking antique stands on ogee bracket feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
