A superb and very fine solid, heavy gauge set of 6 William IV dinner forks in the fiddle pattern. Exceptionally good set; the front of the handles are a lovely simple plain polished silver with no engraving or embossing. On the back of the handles are the very clear hallmarks for the London Assay Office, three of the forks have a date mark for 1830 and maker’s marks for T.Cox Savory, and three have a date mark for 1831 and maker''s mark for AHS
These forks are a lovely heavy gauge silver are very tactile and feel lovely to hold in the hand – rare to find such a superb set!
Condition: These forks are in great antique condition.
