A very fine silver photograph frame. The shape is iconic Edwardian style with, a wonderfully shaped borders, the edges of which are decorated with floral wreaths. The silver frame sits on a lovely mahogany wooden base. The back is also made in the same wood. Clear hallmarks are visible on the front of the frame for the Chester Assay Office with a date mark for 1913 and Lion Passant to indicate sterling silver. Maker''s marks are also visible for the Silversmiths Henry Williamson Ltd . The aperture for the frame is a good practical size for a photograph being 13.5 cm x 9 cm approx.  Condition: This frame is in great antique condition.
