Description

This is a very attractive burr walnut and ebonised book table from the aesthetic period, circa 1870. The table has a wonderful colour to the burr grain and the ebonised surfaces are engraved and hand gilded. There is a revolving book shelf tier beneath the table top with turned bobin detail. The table measures 70 cms high and is 56 cms wide overall, with the table surface being 42 cms in diameter.
