Fine quality and unusual Regency mahogany bookcase.

The cornice with ebony inlay detail above a pair of glazed doors opening to adjustable shelved interior, further ebony inlaid decorations and fabulous rope twist columns , the base with two faux drawers and shelved cupboards below raised on carved ball feet.

normal marks / scuffs , the usual expected signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and use but overall this is an outstanding quality bookcase in good original condition with a very pleasing colour and patina, it really needs to be seen to fully appreciate the craftmanship and work which has gone in to making such a great piece.
