Description

Circa 1890, Aesthetic Movement ebonised open bookcase. The rectangular top with a moulded fore edge and neat gilded frieze sits over the two section bookcase with fluted-front, gilt-decorated adjustable shelves. It is flanked by pilasters with gilding and applied roundel decorations, and all sits on an enclosed plinth base.
