An extremely attractive, 5-piece, solid silver Cruet Set in iconic Art Deco style. The set comprises a mustard pot with lid and original blue glass liner, Salt pot with original blue glass liner and Pepper pot. Nicely shaped the items are an original set, all with the same style design. Each pot sits a a neat splayed circular foot and the Pepper Pot and Mustard Pot lid''s feature and lovely ''flame'' finial. Hallmarks are clearly visible on each of the pots for the Birmingham Assay Office with date mark for 1939, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker''s mark for Roberts & Dore.Both the mustard and salt spoon are simply plain polished silver with a nicely styled flat tip to the top of each handle. A superb original set in great antique condition.
