Striking Gillows of Lancaster Golden Oak Victorian Antique Bookcase

Constructed from the most striking figured oak by Gillows of Lancaster, this breathtaking bookcase dates from around 1850 in the Victorian era. With a rectangular top above the most spectacular carved frieze, two glazed doors with key with working lock and the interior has two adjustable shelves. The sides are also beautifully carved and this remarkable piece stands on a moulded plinth and the golden oak has been finished by our professional antique furniture restorers using traditional methods, so is in superb condition.

Width:108cm / 42.5 inches

Depth:38cm / 15 inches
