George III Silver Caddy Spoon London 1813

Fine, early, George III solid silver caddy spoon. This spoon is a lovely plain and simple design with no engravings or embossing apart from a small armorial heraldic design engraved on the top of the terminal. Very clear hallmarks are visible on the back of the terminal for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1813 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The maker''s marks are rubbed.

Condition: This caddy spoon is in great antique collector''s condition.
