Victorian Carved Oak Antique Glazed Bookcase

Dating from around 1880, this carved oak antique bookcase has a beautifully figured top with carved moulded edge above two glazed doors and the interior has two adjustable shelves. This splendid antique stands on a plain moulded plinth and has the most spectacular acorn carved sides and is full of beautiful charm and character. The oak has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
