An adorable solid silver child''s nursery rhyme spoon. A lovely design with a nicely shaped bowl (very suitable for feeding a baby or young child) and a charming handle featuring a baby in a cradle depicting the ancient ''Hush a bye baby'' children''s rhyme, with the words ''Hush a bye baby'' also embossed (see images). On the back of the bowl clear hallmarks are visible for the Glasgow Assay Office with a date mark for 1929 and maker''s marks for W H Collins & Co.
Wonderful collector''s spoon, especially as this item is Glasgow silver!
Condition: This spoon is in great antique condition.
