Pair Of Solid Silver Stuffing Spoons London 1843

An absolutely superb pair of very early Victorian, solid silver stuffing / serving spoons. Wonderful large proportions (30.3 cm in length) and a good heavy weight. The spoons are lovely polished silver with no engravings. The back of the terminal of each spoon, shows very clear hallmarks for The London Assay Office along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and a date mark for 1843. Maker''s marks are also very clear for the silversmith John Harris IV.
 
Rare to find a pair of such a large spoons and in such great condition.
 
 
 
Condition: These spoons are in excellent antique condition.
