Description

A top quality mahogany bookcase from the late Victorian period and in the style of Thomas Chippendale. The ball and claw feet are sat above a shapely plinth with carved panels to the base doors, giving way to two tall astragal glazed doors. All the glazing is beveled usually a sure fine sign of superior quality. The upper frieze and ogee cornice are both decorated with crisp carving. A super bookcase in excellent condition, looking even better in the flesh. Cleaned and wax polished ready to go.
