Silver Twin Handled Bowl Sheffield 1933

A superb, silver art deco bowl. In circular plain form the bowl rests on a single slightly tapered circular foot . The bowl is surmounted by two beautifully designed, iconic art deco style handles, adding to the sublime overall aesthetics of this piece. Clear and crisp hallmarks are visible to the side of the bowl just next to the handle for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1933, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker''s mark of Lee & Wigfull.
 
A splendid bowl feels nice to hold in the hands; a stylish and highly collectable piece!
