Finest quality, silver lidded and hob nail glass trinket pot. Wonderful oval shape with beautifully designed art nouveau silver lid. The lid pulls off the heavy glass base. It is decorated in iconic art nouveau style, that is exceptionally pretty, featuring exquisitely embossed daffodils and has a pretty beaded edge. The underneath of the lid is lightly gilded and a nice pale lemony colour. On the top of the lid, hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office and a date mark for 1905 are clear and crisp, along with the Lion Passant for sterling silver.
Condition: Both the glass base and the silver lid are in great antique condition.
