An unusually shaped, solid silver posy holder in the form of a Rocket. A novel shape, it stands stands on three ''rocket'' legs. No engraving or embossing to the silver.
Hallmarks and maker''s marks are clearly visible on the back of the trophy: Dublin 1939, Weir & Sons. 1.W.
Condition: The posy holder is in lovely condition (there is a very tiny indentation to the silver on the back of the trophy that is not noticeable unless placed in the light and two very minute nicks to the silver at the front base, mentioned for accuracy only.
