Very fine, Edwardian, solid silver stamp case, in the form of an envelope, very beautifully engraved with flowers to both the front and the back. The hinged lid opens to allow placement of stamps inside. On the right hand side is a loop for attachment.
When the hinged lid is opened clear hallmarks are revealed for The Birmingham Assay Office and a date mark for 1904. There are also maker''s marks, for the renowned silversmiths: Adie & Lovekin.
Condition: This stamp case is in great antique condition. The hinge works perfectly.
