A charming solid silver Victorian Butter Knife. The pattern on the knife is a lovely Arts & Crafts design. The handle is embossed and a similar design is engraved on the blade (quite an uncommon and novel feature to have the same pattern both embossed and engraved to add to the wonderful aesthetics ) . The back of the handle shows very clear hallmarks for the Sheffield Assay Office along with a date mark for 1892 and the maker''s marks for Henry Wilkinson & Co.
Condition: This butter knife is in great antique condition. There are a few superficial tarnish marks to the back of the blade, commensurate with age.
