Superb Edwardian Silver Cream Jug London 1906

A superb, Edwardian, solid silver cream jug, beautifully designed in helmet form and sitting on a neat square base. The polished silver has no embossing or engraving and a simple rolled edge adds to the wonderful aesthetics of this piece, the proportions are superb. It has a charming loop handle to one side perfectly enhancing the profile. Hallmarks for the London Assay office are visible on the body of the jug as well as the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and a date mark for 1906. The maker''s marks for Haseler Brothers (Edward John Haseler & Noble Haseler) are also clear.
 
 
 
Condition: This jug is in wonderful antique condition.
