Silver Edwardian Vesta Case Chester 1904

A neat solid silver Vesta case. Simple design and of lovely small proportions. There is no engraving to the silver. The lid opens and closes nicely and clear hallmarks are visible on the inside lip for the Chester Assay Office with a date mark for 1904 along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and maker''s marks for Payton Pepper & Sons.
 
 
 
Condition: In good original condition appropriate for age. There is some minor superficial surface scratching to the case commensurate with age and visible due to the plain polished surface of the item.
