Georgian C1780 mahogany secretaire bookcase.

Solid and strong, with no loose joints. Full of age, character and charm. Great patina and a lovely light mahogany colour.

Would look great in the right location! No woodworm. Key to cupboard door only. Replacement black leather writing surface. The oak lined drawers slide freely.

Overall maximum dimensions: 112cm wide, 53cm deep (96cm deep with the writing surface down), 239cm high (97cm high base plus 142cm high top). The writing surface is 70cm high and the adjustable shelves 99cm wide, 31cm deep.

Loads of historic chips, knocks and repairs but all add to the great overall charm & age of this piece when compared to other over restored examples. Later handles. Separates into two parts for transport.
