A truly wonderful Edwardian solid silver toast rack. Comprising four compartments divided by lovely flowing art nouveau shapes culminating in a beauteous design so synonymous with the Nouveau period. The toast rack is supported on four ball feet and sits nicely level. Clear and crisp hallmarks are visible on the underneath of the toast rack for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1901 and Lion Passant for sterling silver, along with the maker''s marks for Thomas Latham and Ernest Morton. Superior craftmanship associated with a fine maker.
Condition: This toast rack is in great antique condition.
