A very fine and good solid Victorian ice cream/syllabub spade The spade of the spoon is beautifully engraved with lovely swirling patterns. The tip of the handle has a distinctive shell decoration so synonymous with Victorian decoration. Very clear and crisp hallmarks are visible on the back of the spade handle for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1891 and maker''s mark for the renowned silversmiths: Atkin Brothers.
Condition: This Ice Cream Spade is in great antique condition.
