A most attractive, very fine pair of solid silver mustard pots. These pots have good proportions and are a lovely size. They sit on a circular pedestal base. The body of the pots have a charming leaf design around the lower half, a nice loop handle on one side that includes a very effective hinge attached to the lid for ease of opening. Each lid is decorated similarly to the design on the base with a small pretty finial in the centre, with a date mark for 1924 and a Lion Passant for sterling silver on the underneath of each lid. The pots have been re-gilded on the inside. Further hallmarks can be seen on the side of each pot for the Birmingham Assay Office with date marks for 1925, along with the maker''s mark for Adie Brothers. Condition: Both of the mustard pots are in great antique condition. Hallmarks: Birmingham 1924 by the Maker Adie Brothers, There is a pattern number on the base of each: Rd556257. Measurements of each pot:Height: 9 cm appro...
