An extremely charming solid silver cream jug. The jug is wonderfully decorated with repousse motifs of dogs, surrounded by flora and fauna. The body of the jug is mounted on three decorative lion head and paw feet, showing the greatest attention to the smallest detail by the silversmith. An attractive handle sits on one side. Clear hallmarks are visible on the base of the jug for Dublin 1912, along with the renowned maker''s mark Wakely & Wheeler.
