An attractive late Victorian oak open bookcase dating to circa 1890. With a darker colour and a lovely foliate carved top edge and front it stands on a moulded plinth base. It has a total of six fixed shelves providing plenty of useful storage.
This bookcase is in good solid condition and the top and sides have been made with quarter sawn oak. It is faded to the top and right side and there are some fade/water and dark marks to the top surface.
