Silver Trophy Sheffield 1912 James Deakin

Finest quality and superb twin-handled, solid silver trophy, associated with a very fine silversmith. This trophy is an exquisite and beautiful design. The polished silver surface is enhanced with a lovely wrythen design around the lower half of the cup. Two iconic art nouveau style handles protrude on either side. The stem meets a circular base that flares outward to form the stand. Clear hallmarks are visible on the side of the cup for Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1912, along with the renowned maker''s mark: James Deakin & Sons.
