Sterling Silver Octagonal Bowl Sheffield 1902

An extremely stylish, Edwardian, solid sterling silver bowl. Wonderful proportions and silversmith''s work of the finest quality can be seen in this iconic Edwardian style, which is classically simple in design and quite stunning in an octagonal shape, with no engravings or embossing to the polished silver. Very clear hallmarks are visible, showing the Lion Passant for sterling silver and marks for the Sheffield Assay office with date mark for 1902 and maker''s marks: Atkin Brothers. There is also a registration number stamped on the base of the bowl: Rd No: 360166.
 
 
 
Condition: This bowl is in great antique condition with no visible dents or dings to the silver. Hallmarks are very clearly visible.
