Silver Salt Spoon Gilt Bowl London 1835

A very fine, William IV, solid silver salt spoon, of lovely proportions. Simple and classic design, the spoon has a gilt bowl. No engravings or embossing add to the charm of this salt spoon. Clear hallmarks are visible including the leopard''s head of the London Assay Office and the Lion Passant (indicating sterling silver) and date mark for London 1835. Maker''s marks are also clearly visible: Charles Shipway.
 
 
 
Condition: This salt spoon is in great antique condition. No visble dents to the silver and not misshappen. The gilt in the bowl is a good colour and not worn. The hallmarks and maker''s marks are very clearly visible.
