Striking Victorian Mahogany Antique Glazed Bookcase on Cupboard

Dating from Around 1870 In the Victorian Era, This Striking Mahogany Antique Glazed Bookcase on Cupboard has a moulded cornice above two glazed doors with key with working lock and the interior has three adjustable shelves. The lower section has a beautifully figured moulded top above two moulded frieze drawers, two cupboard doors with moulded edges and spectacular figured panels, key with working lock and the interior has one fixed shelf. The sides have beautifully carved corbels and stands on a moulded plinth. This striking bookcase is a superb marriage and splits into two sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
