Exquisite Victorian Silver Bowl London 1881

A most exquisite, Victorian, solid silver bowl. Wonderful proportions and silversmith''s work of the finest quality. The bowl is beautifully decorated with flora and fauna and has some initials lightly engraved on one side. It sits on three lion mask feet. The rim of the bowl is charmingly scalloped with a beaded edge. Very clear hallmarks showing the Lion Passant for sterling silver and the leopard''s head of the London Assay office can be seen on the base of the bowl, along with the date mark for 1881 and maker''s marks: Robert Harper.
 
 
 
Condition: This bowl is in great antique condition, with no dents or dings to the silver.
