A charming early Victorian, solid silver sifter spoon. The bowl of the spoon is beautifully decorated with protruding fruits including pineapple and melon and has a lovely pale lemon gilt wash. The curved spoon handle, both front and back is nicely engraved (see photos), Very clear and crisp hallmarks and maker''s marks are visible on the back of the spoon handle: Exeter 1837.

Condition: This spoon is in great antique condition, with no visible dents or dings or misshaping to the silver. The hallmarks are very clear and crisp.
