A charming and very fine, Edwardian Art Nouveau silver pepperette. The design of this pepperette is exquisite and typically art nouveau with the blue glass insert visible through the fret design of swirls. The attractive top lifts off. Clear part hallmarks are visible on the top around the rim and full hallmarks are on the base.
Hallmarks: Birmingham 1902, made by: William Henry Sparrow
Condition: This Pepperette is in great used condition. There is a very small dent to one side of the lid commensurate with age and mentioned for accuracy. The blue glass insert has a small nibble to the inside rim.
Measurements:
Height: 6.7cm approx
Diameter: 2.9cm approx.
Weight: 39 grams approx.
