Description

inlaid mahogany breakfront bookcase with makers label for GH Morton & Son Ltd., Bold Street, Liverpool.

the frieze with ornate inlay detail, the central double cupboard doors with inlay details to the panels and opening to adjustable shelved interior, flanked either side by astragal glazed doors, again opening to fully adjustable shelved interiors and raised on tapering legs with spade feet.

with normal marks / scuffs etc commensurate with age and use and an historic repair to one back leg but none of which detract from this very handsome bookcase which is in overall good clean condition.
